Job summary
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to scale up production and own process quality across a global network. You will drive PFMEAs, control plans and process flows from startup to end of life, collaborating with ODMs, CMs and suppliers to meet throughput and quality targets.
You will travel 25-50% to support global operations and solve escalations with root-cause analysis, delivering hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware.
- 2+ years of product development experience.
Responsibilities
- Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
- Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors
- Deliver hands‑on technical support during new product introductions and launches
- Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis
