Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team seeks seasoned Manufacturing Engineers to own the launch and scaling of production for new products on a global network. You will drive PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process flows from startup through end-of-life, coordinating with ODMs, CMs, and component vendors to meet throughput and quality targets.

You will act as the technical owner for manufacturing issues, performing root cause analyses and leading continuous improvements while traveling

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through root cause analysis
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time)
