Job summary

Halma p.l.c is seeking a highly driven Financial Controller to build and lead a best-in-class accounting function across global operations. This execution-focused role partners with the CFO and leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, strengthen close processes, controls, and scalable finance infrastructure for global growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing/cost accounting background, public-company experience, and a track record of building and scaling finance teams.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Proven success as a Controller or senior finance leader in a high-growth/global environment.
• Strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and multi-entity/multi-currency environments.
• Experience operating within a public company or structured reporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of management accounts, statutory inputs and group reporting across all entities.
• Lead monthly and annual close processes with focus on speed, rigor, and transparency.
• Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to support CFO-led decision-making.
• Build and maintain robust internal controls aligned with public company standards.
