Job summary

WESTRAFO AMERICA LLC seeks an experienced Controller to lead all accounting, reporting, budgeting, and controls for its growing transformer manufacturing operation in Ohio. You will partner with the Italian parent and investors, presenting financials, forecasts, and capital expenditure requests.

The role requires strong cost and inventory accounting, manufacturing costs insight, and experience with multinational reporting. Italian language is a plus and startup manufacturing exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 5 years in manufacturing accounting.
• 3+ years in a Controller/Finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead standard costing and cost accounting for transformer manufacturing.
• Manage monthly financial reporting, forecasts, and analyses for investors and leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow projections, and financial modeling.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and compliance in a startup environment.
• Support ERP implementation and finance system improvements.
• Prepare financial presentations for board/investors and negotiate with banks/tax advisors.
