Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Austin, TX to oversee domestic, international and cartage freight warehouse operations and staff. You will partner with suppliers, define baselines, and drive cost and service improvements while ensuring a safe, compliant workplace.

The role emphasizes strong communication, hands-on leadership, and a focus on delivering top-tier warehousing services for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with Warehouse (Pick Pack and Ship), domestic, international and cartage freight warehousing services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in WMS – 3PL Central.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner.
• Good time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Maintain confidentiality and attendance.
• Adhere to company policies and work rules.

Responsibilities

• Support warehouse operations staff in day-to-day activities for Domestic, International, Pick Pack and Ship, and Cartage Freight Warehouse teams.
• Meet with local warehouse supplier/tools/equipment providers; negotiate to obtain desired results.
• Develop baselines and benchmarks for warehousing operations and identify cost/service improvements.
• Oversee daily domestic service and operations related to cartage, freight movement and dispatch quotes.
• Provide an efficient warehousing system delivering high service levels to internal and external customers.
• Review and adjust staffing to meet company goals.
• Monitor warehousing expenses and logistics metrics.
• Ensure a safe working environment through safety programs and procedures.
