Job summary

Petmate in the United States seeks a Director, Logistics & Transportation to lead end-to-end logistics across ocean, air, truck, parcel, and rail. You will optimize import operations, domestic transportation, freight procurement, and carrier/3PL management to ensure on-time, cost-effective product movement from suppliers to distribution centers and retailers.

You will partner with Global Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance to align logistics with business goals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Significant experience leading large-scale logistics and transportation operations.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s end-to-end logistics and transportation strategy across modes (ocean, air, truckload, LTL, parcel, intermodal, rail).
• Lead inbound/outbound logistics with internal facilities and external partners (3PLs, carriers, distributors).
• Oversee freight procurement, contract negotiations, and carrier/3PL performance management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and on-time product delivery.
• Drive import operations, international/domestic transportation, and landed-cost optimization.
• Lead and develop Petmate’s Traffic Department and establish KPIs.
