Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, transportation or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Travel may be required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support customer transportation requirements by developing and managing carrier and customer relations.
• Communicate with shippers, consignees, vendors, agents to manage shipments.
• Negotiate pricing based on volumes, service lanes, and potential business for carriers and customers.
• Work with carriers to obtain pricing and certify pricing calculations to meet profit goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team to grow business lanes and monitor shipments and performance.
