Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Manager to own end-to-end logistics, trade compliance, and related teams. You will shape strategy, manage inbound/outbound freight, and lead ITAR/EAR compliance across the company.

The role requires extensive experience in logistics with a focus on regulatory matters, 3PL partnerships, and cost optimization, reporting to senior leadership. On-site position with competitive salary and equity package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of progressive logistics and/or trade compliance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or director-level role with direct reports.
• Demonstrated experience building or leading a logistics function with significant freight spend responsibility.
• Deep expertise in U.S. export regulations including ITAR and EAR, customs compliance, and international trade requirements.
• Proven track record managing TMS implementations, carrier contract negotiations, and 3PL performance programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop VulcanForms’ global logistics strategy and 3PL/warehousing partnerships.
• Lead all freight contract negotiations to deliver competitive rates and service levels.
• Own the full trade compliance program: HS/HTS classification, ITAR/EAR compliance, USTR filings, denied party screenings.
• Manage customs brokerage relationships and ensure compliant import/export declarations.
• Develop and maintain the tariff impact model and quantify tariff exposure.
• Oversee hazardous materials logistics including titanium powder handling and certifications.
• Manage demurrage, detention, and KPI dashboards for delivery performance and costs.
• Implement and manage a Transportation Management System (TMS) for visibility and optimization.
• Build and scale the Logistics & Trade Compliance team and train across functions.
• Serve as subject matter expert on trade and logistics regulatory matters.
