Job summary

ShipSticks is seeking an International Customer Support Specialist to manage in-transit shipments, coordinate with customs, and keep clients informed from pickup to delivery. You will monitor multiple carriers, resolve issues proactively, and ensure timely handoffs across borders.

This role offers growth from specialist to coordinator to supervisor, with daily reporting, strong cross-border problem solving, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Preferred background in logistics, operations, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• In-Transit Shipment Management: Monitor all in-transit international shipments end-to-end across every carrier, proactively identifying and resolving carrier issues before delays.
• Exception Resolution: Own the resolution of misroutes, held packages, failed pickups, and delivery failures with the carrier.
• Customs Coordination: Coordinate with customs authorities and clearance partners to move shipments across borders without preventable holds.
• Client & Partner Communication: Serve as the go-to contact for clients and partners, providing clear updates from pickup through final delivery and setting accurate expectations.
• Visibility & Reporting: Maintain daily visibility across all shipments in a single source of truth and run the daily International Report workflow.
• Operational Metrics: Track exceptions, delays, clearance times, and on-time delivery to surface trends and drive improvements.
• Escalation Support: Act as an escalation point for booking agents on time-sensitive or at-risk shipments.
