Job summary

Global Sticks Express (d/b/a ShipSticks) is seeking an International Specialist to join our growing international team. You will manage in-transit shipments end-to-end, coordinate customs, and keep clients and partners informed with proactive updates from pickup to final delivery.

This role offers growth from International Specialist to Coordinator and Supervisor based on performance and international volume.

Qualifications

• Background in logistics, operations, customer service or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive and ownership-oriented.

Responsibilities

• In-Transit Shipment Management: monitor international shipments end-to-end across carriers; resolve issues before delays.
• Exception Resolution: own misroutes, held packages, failed pickups, and delivery failures with carriers.
• Customs Coordination: work with customs authorities and clearance partners to keep shipments moving; manage pre-alerts and confirmations.
• Client & Partner Communication: be the go-to contact providing clear updates from pickup to delivery and set expectations for delays.
• Visibility & Reporting: maintain a single source of truth for all shipments; own the daily International Report workflow with up-to-date data.
• Operational Metrics: track exceptions, delays, clearance times, on-time delivery; surface trends and improve reporting/tools.
• Escalation Support: act as escalation point for booking agents on time-sensitive shipments to prevent stalls.
