Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager, Logistics in Hawthorne, CA to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across the supply base. You will partner with Logistics and suppliers to mature cost- and risk-focused strategies, manage KPIs, and lead supplier development initiatives.

Responsibilities include project leadership, contract support, and data-driven decision making to deliver measurable savings and performance improvements across the global freight and parcel network.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or 4+ years in purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
• 1+ years of experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute projects to completion with stakeholders.
• Develop procurement strategies balancing cost and risk.
• Assist in drafting contracts with Legal; manage contract performance.
• Negotiate to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Manage supplier relationships and KPI-driven performance.
• Collaborate with Logistics on supplier selection and cost management.
• Define SLAs and KPIs with stakeholders; assess cost and service.
• Perform quantitative analysis of financial impacts and model cost improvements.
