Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager, Software to lead indirect software procurement, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings across SG&A spend. You will coordinate with Logistics, Finance, and Legal to optimize contracts and performance for strategic software services.

The role requires advanced analytics, experience in purchasing, and strong negotiation skills. Onsite in Hawthorne, CA with a fast-moving, high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or bachelor’s degree with significant experience in purchasing/supply chain.
• Experience in a purchasing or supply chain role is preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: identify and execute projects to completion, including planning, coordinating with stakeholders, and communicating updates.
• Risk Management: analyze global supply chain dynamics and market volatility; develop procurement strategies to balance cost and risk.
• Contract Management: assist in authoring contract documents with Legal; manage supplier performance to contract obligations.
• Negotiations: negotiate to maximize value and cost savings while lowering risk.
• Supplier Management: manage supplier relationships; develop improvement plans; monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, cash targets, and cost savings.
• Stakeholder Management: partner with internal teams through clear communication and data-driven insights; align spend initiatives.
• Analysis: conduct advanced quantitative analysis, benchmark research, and market analysis for categories.
