Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager in Hawthorne, CA, to own Falcon/Dragon commodity strategy from RFQ to award and long-term agreements. You will manage a live production supply base and collaborate with engineering, planning, and finance to ensure cost targets, continuity of supply, and supplier performance as production scales.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or 4+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of related experience; or 10+ years in one or more of the listed areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global supply agreements and sourcing strategy for a Falcon/Dragon commodity; ensure partners are ready for prototype, ramp, and rate production.
• Own continuity of supply from concept through end of life, including dual-source risk and escalation when delivery or quality is at risk.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with cross-functional teams; evaluate bids and present sourcing recommendations.
