Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead enterprise logistics across the United States, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain. The role focuses on developing and executing logistics strategies for DoD, FAA, and commercial programs, including international transportation and material movement.

You will optimize 3PL and carrier programs, establish KPIs and governance, and drive cross-functional improvements while ensuring compliance and security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with extensive logistics experience including import/export, compliance, and international/domestic programs.
• Experience developing and executing logistics strategies across multiple locations and programs.
• Experience managing freight, 3PL, carrier programs and cost optimization.
• Proven ability to establish and improve logistics processes, SOPs, KPIs and governance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and manage multiple concurrent requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise logistics strategies across U.S. locations and programs.
• Lead DoD, FAA and commercial logistics initiatives including international transport and material movement.
• Establish optimized freight, 3PL and carrier programs with performance management.
• Create, monitor and improve SOPs, KPIs and governance for the logistics function.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risks.
• Monitor material movement from origin to delivery and ensure compliance with procedures.
