Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Lead Logistics Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. This role may be performed remotely or on-site at a Saab, Inc. office location and requires US citizenship.

The position focuses on developing logistics strategies for all U.S. locations, optimizing material movements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including 3PLs, brokers, and government agencies. Domestic travel is up to 10% annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain or Logistics with 8+ years in import/export and freight program development or Master's with 6+ years.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Proven analytical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics strategies for all U.S. locations supporting DoD, FAA and commercial programs.
• Establish and optimize global material movements with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate to develop effective freight and freight-forwarding programs.
• Improve deliveries, receipts and outbound freight while reducing risk and total costs.
• Monitor movements from origin to final delivery per Planning and SPM guidance.
• Maintain communication with SPMs, 3PLs, brokers, government agencies and suppliers.
• Develop logistics SOPs and ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
• Travel domestically up to 10% annually.
