Job summary

iHerb in the United States is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist to coordinate with international carriers and manage outbound shipments efficiently. You will collaborate with leadership to optimize delivery across lanes and ensure cost-effective operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of logistics, vendor management, and data analysis, with a focus on improving customer experience and accuracy in rates, timelines, and compliance across the D2C ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience in enhancing delivery networks for direct to consumer shipping solutions to improve transportation cost, speed, and customer experience.
• Experience working in an e‑Commerce environment and deep understanding of the D2C (Direct‑to‑Consumer) landscape.
• Vendor management experience to drive success for the end consumer.
• Problem analysis and problem‑solving.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization skills and ability to multi‑task.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on carriers and regulations for the assigned lanes.
• Build relationships with FedEx and DHL to resolve delivery issues and identify opportunities for projects and growth.
• Develop new delivery programs for the assigned shipping lanes.
• Set up and continually improve processes for the assigned lanes and carriers.
• Perform research, gather, and analyze data for lanes and projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve how we serve customers and business processes.
• Maintain rates, routings, lead times, VAT, tracking mapping, and shipping content.
• Research lost shipments and coordinate with brokers and iHerb Logistics.
• Follow up with freight forwarders and logistics vendors daily to ensure timely transit.
• Assist with audits and compliance; support contract processes with Leadership.
• Obtain quotes and prepare vendor pricing update reports for Accounting and management.
• Manage lead times and investigate delays with internal teams and carriers.
• Attend corporate meetings when necessary; support assigned projects.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
