Job summary

SubCom in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support warehouse, logistics, depot, and materials management. You will cross-reference stock numbers, coordinate movement, and assist with shipping, stowage, and documentation.

Requires 3 years of logistics experience, and compliance with DOT/OSHA/Hazmat; travel domestically and internationally is possible; valid US driver license and passport preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of logistics and procurement experience in military or commercial operations.
• Experience in international freight logistics (packaging, crating, shipping modes, customs, etc.).
• Ability to work with cross-cultural teams and cross-functional groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts, supplies, equipment, and related documentation.
• Plan warehouse resources and activities to meet operations objectives.
• Maintain material handling equipment and vehicle readiness.
• Identify and resolve logistics constraints and supply disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, IMDG, IATA, and hazmat shipping requirements.
