Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Logistics Procurement Manager to develop and execute global procurement strategies for ocean freight, air freight, freight forwarding, and customs brokerage. You will manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and performance while aligning with regional stakeholders and ensuring reliable capacity and competitive costs.

You will lead bidding events, monitor markets, and drive risk and compliance across transportation networks.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent.
Minimum five years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or logistics.
Experience with ocean/air freight, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or similar.
Strong negotiation and contract-management capabilities.
Proficiency with Excel to analyze large datasets and prepare recommendations.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute global procurement strategies for logistics services.
Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier selections.
Manage supplier relationships and performance through scorecards and reviews.
Coordinate with regional managers and stakeholders to align global and local requirements.
Provide escalation point for procurement issues and develop contingency plans.
