Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Logistics Planner to manage export/import processes, liaise with carriers, and help shape long-term logistics strategies. The role focuses on compliance, documentation, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

You should bring a bachelor’s degree or related business experience, two years of export experience, EAR knowledge, and strong proofreading skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related business experience.
• Two years of export experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Excellent proofreading skills.
• Ability to learn concepts and technical details of products.
• Three years of shipping experience across all modes of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement compliance processes and procedures, including record keeping.
• Assist with export compliance training and communicate export policies to employees.
• Update international shipping instructions with current information (ECCN, and other requirements).
• Respond to internal and external questions and investigate issues regarding international shipments.
• Support shipment activity and documentation in accordance with export/import laws.
