Job summary

The Leschaco Group in Jersey City is seeking an Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end international shipments for a portfolio of clients. You will prepare export documents, coordinate carriers, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering proactive customer service.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years in international freight forwarding or logistics, with experience in AES filings, export compliance, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in international freight forwarding or logistics.
• Experience with AES filings and export compliance.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export shipments for assigned accounts.
• Prepare and process export documents (bills of lading, invoices, origin certificates, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulations including AES filings.
• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, overseas agents, and customers.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve inquiries.
• Negotiate rates and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Support ISO and C-TPAT compliance initiatives.
