Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead domestic and global supply chain activities at our manufacturing facility. The role covers shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory oversight, and freight partnerships with cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, and EHS teams.

The position requires leadership of warehouse staff, strong ERP and Microsoft 365 skills, and IMDG/IATA familiarity. Work hours are standard with a 37.5-hour week and no travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing logistics within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven background in handling international shipping and logistics.
• Practical experience in managing inventory systems.
• Proficiency in utilizing ERP software for logistics operations.
• Advanced technical skills in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics processes, including order preparation, labeling, inspections, and documentation for global and domestic distribution.
• Ensure secure and compliant transport of hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
• Formulate effective storage and shipping plans considering material constraints and operational needs.
• Collaborate with the EHS department to maintain a safe working environment.
• Verify incoming raw materials and finished goods by confirming lot numbers and quantities.
• Direct warehouse personnel by managing performance and enforcing policies.
• Maintain high inventory precision by reconciling receipts with purchase orders and conducting cycle counts.
• Assess freight carrier performance, track shipping expenditures, audit invoices, and resolve freight-related claims.
• Control departmental spending to align with approved budgets.
• Uphold safety and hygiene standards and seek improvements in warehouse efficiency.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous development.
