Job summary

PSA BDP, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to optimize Ocean Export services, lead cross-functional projects, and support growth with data-driven insights. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient cargo flows.

The candidate should bring 4–5 years of operational experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least four(4) to five (5) years of operational experience.
• Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired.
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
• Good coordination and multitasking capability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships and credibility with external customers and PSA BDP operations and other company functional groups.
• Lead engagement with customer suppliers and business groups ensuring minimal disruption to export cargo flow.
• Lead weekly virtual meetings with customer and vendors (Ocean Carrier, Dray Providers, Shipping Sites)
• Perform business and process analysis using the data and information provided by internal systems and outside sources.
• Participate on process improvement teams to determine ways to improve business processes.
• Provide ad hoc analytical services to assist in problem solving and in times of crisis.
• Produce reports and graphics for internal and external customers.
• Lead implementation and assist in follow-up with each new site/BU onboarded
• Work with Client to ensure import/export regulatory compliance
