Job summary

Upstate Coin & Gold seeks a Director of Global Logistics & Distribution to design and lead a high-value distributed network with a focus on secure, cost-efficient movement of inventory across international carriers and depots.

The role drives modernization of the GLD department, aiming for an automation-first operating model where ERP serves as the single source of truth, balancing strategic vision with hands-on improvements in a complex supply chain.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in logistics or supply chain within high-security or regulated environments.
• Ability to build or restructure a department with clear SOPs and KPIs.
• Experience managing multi-node, international distribution networks.

Responsibilities

• Own GLD strategy, staffing, KPIs, reports, SOPs and vendor accountability.
• Ensure daily mission-critical duties are completed; manage continuity and surge planning.
• Deliver End of Day reports, cost reports, and risk/control review with stakeholders.
