Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Director of Logistics (Global Freight & Partner Management) to build and lead a high-performing international team overseeing outsourced transportation networks. This leader will design end-to-end global transport strategies, manage 3PL providers, and ensure strict KPI compliance across time zones.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in global logistics, with 5+ years managing multi-million dollar outsourced freight accounts and 3PL networks, plus strong TM and data-visibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Logistics.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in global logistics with 5+ years managing multi-million dollar outsourced freight accounts and 3PL networks.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and scale a global team of logistics managers, freight coordinators, and data analysts across regions.
• Establish SLAs and KPIs for freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PL partners.
• Lead RFPs for ocean, air, and OTR freight; secure competitive rates and space.
• Define performance metrics and growth paths for internal analysts and managers.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, duties, and import/export documentation.
• Develop contingency plans for transit bottlenecks and disruptions.
• Audit freight volumes across multiple providers to avoid over-reliance.
• Implement freight bill auditing workflows to prevent overcharges.
