Job summary

DSJ Global seeks a Director of Global Logistics & Customer Excellence to lead global logistics, transportation, and customer operations, aligning demand planning and regulatory compliance with growth strategies. You will drive performance across the customer life cycle, ensuring service excellence and cost efficiency.

Lead teams across warehousing, freight, and 3PL partnerships, while managing budgets and implementing automation initiatives. Strong HazMat and ocean freight background essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ employees in complex operations.
• Proven success in global logistics and transportation management.
• HazMat handling experience required.
• 5+ years of ocean freight management for high-volume shipments.
• Experience managing annual operating budgets over $50 million.
• Strong ERP experience (SAP or Oracle), plus analytic and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global logistics, transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, and customer operations.
• Ensure seamless execution from order placement through delivery while maintaining service, quality, compliance, and profitability objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational standardization, automation, and business process optimization.
• Partner with commercial teams to align customer expectations, operational capabilities, and growth strategies.
• Oversee customer service performance, escalation management, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Manage global transportation networks, 3PL providers, freight forwarders, warehousing partners, and carrier relationships.
• Lead freight procurement, contract negotiations, import/export operations, and trade compliance activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to support product launches and operational readiness.
• Develop and manage operational budgets while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple disciplines.
