Job summary

Careismatic Brands is seeking an Associate, Logistics and Customs to optimize global shipments, partner with planning teams and external freight providers, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of our inventory. The role reports to the Customs Manager and focuses on risk mitigation and proactive communication of in-transit exceptions.

The full-time position is based in Sherman Oaks, CA, with responsibilities spanning freight planning, rate management, carrier selection, and customs

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build partnerships with internal and external teams.
• Experience with ERP and data warehouse tools preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate projected freight demand with Planning Team and external providers.
• Manage freight rate information and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build relationships with external freight partners and monitor market dynamics.
• Serve as primary contact for global factory and distribution center network.
• Oversee ocean and air freight bookings to optimize transport spend.
• Monitor shipment lifecycle from booking to put-away and communicate disruptions.
• Ensure timely filing of customs documents and interface with Customs.
• Audit and approve carrier invoices, ensure billing accuracy.
