Job summary
LG Chem America is seeking a proactive Logistics & Customs Planning Assistant with 3-5 years of experience to support planning, cost management, data analysis, SAP activities, and customs compliance programs including CTPAT and CBP initiatives.
The role offers opportunities to improve supply chain performance, manage master data, prepare KPI reports, and coordinate with logistics providers while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, SCM, or Supply Chain Planning.
- ERP systems experience (SAP preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Responsibilities
- Support logistics cost management and performance analysis.
- Maintain transportation and warehouse master data.
- Prepare logistics KPI reports and operational performance reviews.
- Analyze logistics data using SAP and related systems.
- Develop and maintain regular reports using Excel.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Assist with logistics projects and network optimization activities.
- Coordinate data and performance management with logistics service providers.
- Prepare management presentations and business review materials.
- CBP compliance activities, customs audits, and import/export regulatory compliance.
