Job summary

Tricon is a global leader in the trading and distribution of petrochemicals and polymers, with 30 years in business and a multinational workforce in Houston. We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage orders, coordinate shipments, and maintain ERP documentation to ensure accurate and timely product movement.

This role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
Excellent English communication with customers, truckers, and internal teams.
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to identify risks and opportunities to improve product movement.
Experience with resin industry preferred.
Proficient with ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery, ensuring entry into ERP.
Send order confirmations to customers.
Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
Track railcar movements and coordinate timely return of empty railcars.
Maintain order summary for commercial team visibility.
Prepare shipment documentation (BOL, COA, CI, PL).
Manage and follow up on claims related to product delivery, working with internal and external stakeholders toward resolution.
Onboard new customers into the ERP system and ensure required information is accurately maintained.
