Job summary

Subsea7 is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Houston, TX to manage import/export operations to offshore worksites. The role involves coordinating with project teams, tracking shipments, and ensuring efficient logistics support for tenders and projects.

Responsibilities include developing logistics plans, coordinating with freight forwarders, and overseeing purchasing, invoicing, and supplier management to optimize costs and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain/logistics for an international oil services company.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international movement of commercial freight by air, sea and road.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export from locations to offshore worksites.
• Work closely with project functions including supply chain management, operations, engineering, logistics subcontractors and vessel owners.
• Track materials that have been transported and any duties/taxes associated; clearing vessels and their cargo.
• Develop and implement Logistics Plans and procedures as required for project support.
• Support tenders and projects with logistics budgets and continuous improvement by analyzing and providing efficient solutions.
• Prepare vessel importation prior to arrival in the region; support offshore resources during dry-dock or maintenance; support vessel mobilization/demobilization of material and equipment.
• Manage and develop strategic relationships with international freight and shipping agents, terminal/dock operators, trucking companies, and vessel agents to ensure effective and cost-efficient service.
• Direct all supply chain activities related to logistics including purchase requests, purchase orders, invoice review and processing, archiving in SharePoint, supplier management system, and supplier assessment.
