Job summary

The Global Logistics Coordinator at tarte cosmetics will support international transportation, coordinating shipments and ensuring compliance with CBP, EAR, USMCA, FDA and CFR guidelines. You will manage documentation, track shipments, and liaise with carriers and partners to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, or business administration.
• Working knowledge of global logistics, imports/exports, international & domestic freight shipments, US Customs, FDA, Hazardous goods, Duty & VAT, Incoterms, & HTS Classification
• Organized, analytical, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and projects in a high-pressure environment.
• The ability to work independently and cross-functional.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and the ability to create Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and If Statements.
• Experience working in an ERP (Navision preferable), TMS, and WMS systems.
• Experience in Ecommerce, retail, or consumer goods supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe, efficient, and cost-effective freight shipments.
• Issue RFQs to forwarders and carriers; review quotes and provide recommendations.
• Review freight invoices and submit for review and approval.
• Generate, maintain, and distribute logistics documentation and packing lists.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Update ERP with shipment data and perform daily reconciliations.
• Generate weekly inbound shipment reports.
• Interface with retailers, subsidiaries, distributors, 3PL, brokers, and carriers for compliance.
• Communicate and troubleshoot shipment issues with suppliers and carriers.
• Work with Customs brokers and carriers to ensure compliant flows of shipments.
• Comply with packing and handling guidelines for shipments.
• Assist cross-functional teams with logistics and customs inquiries.
• Participate in continuous process improvements and maintain records.
