Job summary

Tarte Cosmetics is seeking a Global Logistics Coordinator to support worldwide transportation, ensuring timely, cost-efficient and compliant shipments in line with CBP, EAR, USMCA, FDA, and CFR 19 requirements.

Responsibilities include issuing RFQs for freight, reviewing rates, tracking shipments, and maintaining ERP records. 1-3 years experience and a logistics-related degree are preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and Navision ERP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, and/or business administration
• Working knowledge of global logistics, imports/exports, US customs, FDA, and incoterms.
• Organized, analytical, detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency; Pivot tables and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP) skills.
• Experience in ERP (Navision), TMS, and WMS systems.
• Experience in ecommerce/retail/consumer goods supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight shipments across ocean, air, truck, and courier for safety and cost efficiency.
• Issue RFQs to forwarders and carriers, review rates, and provide recommendations.
• Review freight invoices and seek approvals with Logistics Team Lead.
• Generate and maintain shipping documents, invoices, customs forms, and packing lists.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
• Update ERP with shipment details and perform daily reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly inbound shipment reports and share with stakeholders.
• Interface with retailers, subsidiaries, distributors, 3PLs, brokers, and carriers on compliance.
• Communicate and troubleshoot shipment issues with suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and carriers for compliant flows.
• Ensure packing and handling guidelines align with product safety.
• Support cross-functional teams on logistics and customs inquiries.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and recordkeeping.
