Job summary

Tarte Inc. is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Analyst to support the company’s import and export compliance program across the U.S., Canada, and global operations. You will help ensure regulatory compliance while minimizing duty exposure and safeguarding the supply chain.

The role collaborates with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Product Development, Procurement, Legal, and external partners to classify products, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement in trade compliance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Customs & Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Global Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, International Trade, import operations, or global logistics.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canada Customs regulations, HTS/HTSUS classification, customs valuation, country of origin rules, and tariff programs.
• Experience with CBP Ace and CBSA CARM portals.
• Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform U.S. and Canadian customs audits, including CBP Form 7501 and CAD reviews.
• Review entries for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with brokers and stakeholders.
• Facilitate broker requests for missing information, including HTS classifications and country of origin.
• Assist with HTS classification and maintain classifications across SKUs.
• Support tariff reporting and KPI maintenance; analyze trends and risks to improve compliance.
• Maintain accurate import/export records in SharePoint, Nav, and other systems.
• Support documentation for customs audits and regulatory inquiries.
