Job summary

CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Logistics Specialist to manage domestic and international shipments and maintain equipment records.

The role collaborates with Operations, project teams, and external providers to ensure timely, compliant delivery of assets. The position is full-time in Stuart, FL, with standard hours and occasional off-hours during busy periods or project mobilizations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, equipment/asset management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and track inbound/outbound domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other providers to secure rates and terms.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, declarations, invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local shipping regulations and procedures.
• Monitor shipments in real time and resolve transit, customs, or documentation issues.
• Coordinate equipment movements to and from facilities, vessels, projects, and client locations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight costs, delivery status, and inventory movements.
• Coordinate shipment timing with project and field schedules to ensure timely arrival.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes and reduce costs.
