Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Global Logistics Analyst in Torrance, CA to transform complex transportation, distribution, and financial data into actionable insights that influence cost, service, and capacity across our global logistics network.

You will develop analytics, dashboards, and business cases to help leaders understand trends, root causes, and opportunities across Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.).
• 3+ years in logistics, supply chain, or related financial analytics.
• Strong data analysis, Excel proficiency, and ERP experience (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Analyze global logistics spend and performance across transportation, distribution centers, 3PLs, parcel, ocean freight, and other activities.
• Gather, validate, and analyze data from SAP ERP and other systems to create reliable insights.
• Develop cost, trend, variance, benchmarking, forecasting, budgeting, and network analyses to uncover opportunities.
• Define, monitor, and report key logistics KPIs across cost, service, capacity, and distribution.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports for visibility into performance.
• Translate complex datasets into clear insights and executive-ready recommendations.
• Identify cost-saving and service-improvement opportunities and quantify impact.
• Support forecasting and budgeting by analyzing historical trends and demand.
