Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Global Logistics Analyst in Torrance, CA. You will turn logistics data into strategic insights, influencing cost, service, capacity, and performance across the global network.

Work across Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT to develop dashboards, models, and business cases. Strong skills in Excel, SAP ERP, and data analysis are required to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, distribution, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with large data sets, analytical modeling, Excel, and SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze global logistics spend and performance across transportation, distribution centers, 3PLs, parcel, ocean freight, and other activities.
• Gather, validate, and analyze data from SAP ERP and other systems to create reliable business insights.
• Develop cost, trend, variance, benchmarking, forecasting, budgeting, and network analyses to uncover risks and opportunities.
• Define, monitor, and report key logistics KPIs across cost, service, capacity, transportation, and DC performance.
• Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports for visibility into performance.
• Translate complex datasets into insights, recommendations, and executive-ready presentations.
• Identify cost-saving and service-improvement opportunities and quantify their impact.
• Support forecasting and budgeting by analyzing historical trends, demand, costs, and requirements.
• Provide analytic support for strategic sourcing, carrier/3PL evaluations, service-level planning, and contract decisions.
