Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field with 3–5 years of logistics/transportation experience or 5 years equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of logistics, distribution and supply chain principles.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills to apply solutions to detailed information.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage workload in a high-volume environment.
• Technical proficiency with SAP or similar ERP, MS Office, Google Suite and BI tools.
• Familiarity with foreign currency exchange.

Responsibilities

• Shipment and Routing Management: Analyze and complete daily shipment routings to achieve optimal transportation service levels at the lowest cost through appropriate mode and carrier selection.
• Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with internal and external customers across the supply chain to ensure service level and cost balance while adhering to global compliance.
• Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze vendor and carrier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• SAP and Data Management: Manage the SAP architectural structure and data accuracy for routes, freight rates, and carrier ranking tables; oversee SAP Transportation Module.
• Reporting and Analysis: Produce standard and ad-hoc SAP-based reports and KPI metrics for management.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Follow U.S. Government and Customs regulations for transportation and compliance; support import/export activities.
• Financial and Vendor Management: Manage vendor assignments and freight payments; audit freight rate structures and insurance claims.
• Support and Continuous Improvement: Provide back-up support and develop ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
