Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience in logistics, import/export, freight forwarders, customs brokers, ISF, Incoterms and trade compliance practices.
• Hazardous material shipments certification required.

Responsibilities

• Track ocean containers, tanks and air shipments imported into the US from origin to delivery.
• Monitor vessel schedules, ETAs, port/airport arrivals, container availability and customs clearance; communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit documentation to customs brokers for timely clearance.
• Coordinate export shipments from the US to international destinations with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Lead root-cause analysis of recurring issues and implement preventive actions.
