Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics is seeking an Account Manager to oversee import/export brokerage and freight forwarding for key customers. You will coordinate with internal teams and carriers to deliver reliable service.

The role requires 3–5 years in logistics, a college degree, and familiarity with customs regulations. You will analyze options, quote rates, and ensure timely billing. Onsite Missouri office with occasional client-site visits.

Qualifications

• CES or CCS preferred and LCB preferred.
• College degree in related field.
• 3-5 years industry experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Understanding of international logistics and customs.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export brokerage and freight forwarding tasks across the customer lifecycle.
• Analyze shipping options and recommend best price, transit time, and routing.
• Monitor loading, departure, transit, arrival, and final delivery for issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve problems.
• Prepare documents for U.S. Customs and other agencies.
• Maintain records and ensure accurate billing.
