Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics is seeking an Account Manager to oversee import/export brokerage and freight forwarding for assigned customers. You will guide the shipment lifecycle, assess options, and communicate with clients to meet requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring loading, transit, and delivery, preparing customs documents, ensuring billing accuracy, and staying compliant with regulations. A college degree and 3–5 years of industry experience are required; CES/CCS and LCB

Qualifications

• CES or CCS preferred, LCB preferred.
• College degree in related field.
• 3-5 years industry experience required.
• Strong time management and work efficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret financial and regulatory documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee import/export brokerage and freight forwarding tasks.
• Assess shipping options and advise customers on price, time, route.
• Monitor shipment progression from loading to final delivery.
• Prepare documents for U.S. Customs and other agencies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Ensure billing accuracy and maintain client records.
