Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics, a leading global provider of expedited logistics, seeks an Account Manager to oversee import/export brokerage and freight forwarding for key customers. You will evaluate shipping options, coordinate with internal teams, and proactively monitor shipments from start to finish to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for preparing customs documents, maintaining records, and ensuring billing accuracy while applying regulatory knowledge

Qualifications

• CES or CCS preferred
• LCB preferred
• College degree in related field
• 3–5 years industry experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export brokerage and freight forwarding needs from quote to delivery
• Analyze shipping options based on price, transit time, routing and customer requirements
• Monitor loading, departure, transit, arrival and delivery; solve issues with internal/external partners
• Prepare documents for U.S. Customs and other agencies; ensure accurate billing and compliance
