Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics seeks an Account Manager to handle import/export brokerage and freight forwarding for a range of customers. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of shipments, analyze options, and make recommendations on routing, price, and timelines to meet customer requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of logistics experience, a related degree, strong communication, and the ability to solve problems while ensuring compliance with U.S. customs and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in logistics/account management.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export brokerage and freight forwarding needs for customers.
• Oversee operational and account management tasks through the shipment lifecycle.
• Analyze shipping options and recommend routes based on price, time, and requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Prepare documents for U.S. Customs and government agencies and ensure accurate billing.
