Job summary

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies in Lakewood, CO seeks a Manager, Global Localization to lead the global documentation localization program. You will drive cross-functional projects, manage vendor partnerships, mentor PMs, and shape localization strategy across product lines and business areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of project and people management experience, including 3 years localization in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies, and localization tools.
• Experience with multiple regional stakeholders and diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Localization Project Managers on best practices, PM methodology, and culture.
• Create and execute complex localization project plans for product lines and corporate initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of medical device products and localization standards to guide documentation processes.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies, evolving best practices as needed.
• Identify localization projects, develop annual budgets, and set priorities across responsibilities.
• Manage communications with all departments and strategic partners on cross-functional teams.
• Support PMs in defining quality and risk, and resolve project issues.
• Lead language service provider relationships, including quarterly business reviews as appropriate.
• Oversee linguist/reviewer recruitment, retention, and dismissal.
• Conduct post-project debriefs and share lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Provide consultancy on localization and internationalization best practices.
• Administer CMS content, work with XML/DITA, and improve workflows.
