Job description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in ISG Fixed Income Operations within the Global Loan Services department within the Residential Trade Support Operations division. This position will be specifically working with Residential Loans supporting Institutional business units and performing Trade Settlement, Servicing and Reconciliation/Analytics functions.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within the Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post-execution processes.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Executing trade settlements
  • Master servicing and exception management in support of Trading Desk and Operational personnel; client onboarding and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) review
  • Checking inbound client documents for accuracy, making outbound contact both in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Define and prioritize project activities and follow-up on project progress
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of financial services field is essential.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to multitask is essential. Knowledge of the financial services field and specifically Residential Mortgages is preferred.
  • Experience in trade support, mortgages and loan origination, residential servicing and secondary residential trading is ideal.
  • Ability to learn quickly and engage in a number of detailed tasks at once.
  • Strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and proactive in your approach to daily tasks. Top Skills: Attention to detail / Strong Excel skills / Self-motivated / Ability to multitask / Analytical and Proactive.

Salary range for the position: $50,000 - $80,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
