Job summary

JLL is seeking a Global Technical Engineering Lead to steer facilities management for a major Life Sciences client. You will drive strategic, regulatory-aligned operations across a large portfolio, ensuring uptime, safety, and GMP/GDP compliance, while leading a high-performing maintenance team.

You will manage budgets, coordinate vendor activities, andpartner with Production, QA, and Regulatory Affairs to meet manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of strategic and tactical IFM portfolio experience.
• Proven Life Sciences experience with GxP or other regulated environments.
• Demonstrated transformational leadership and governance experience across multi-regional portfolios.
• Strong budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting abilities.
• Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent with coaching and succession planning.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for lifecycle FM services across Life Sciences facilities to ensure uptime and compliance.
• Lead annual budget planning and cost optimization while balancing regulatory requirements and capital expenditure.
• Oversee vendor management, supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and external maintenance activities.
• Drive regulatory compliance (FDA/EMA/HPRA) through documentation, validation, and inspections readiness.
• Develop and empower maintenance teams with training, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs) to align activities with schedules and standards.
• Manage capital improvement projects ensuring design standards and timelines are met.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies using risk-based approaches to minimize downtime.
