Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Licensing and Regulatory Programs professional to support state licensing, reporting, and regulatory filings for a remote-first organization. The role collaborates with Legal, Public Affairs, Compliance, and Finance to ensure timely filings and effective licensing strategy across U.S.

Qualifications

• 5 years of licensing/compliance/regulatory experience ideally related to consumer financial services.
• Outstanding time management, administrative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new product & service launches related to state licensing and reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with legal, public affairs, compliance, finance, tax to meet regulatory licensing and reporting obligations.
• Maintain the central repository for licensing and reporting obligations for new license types.
• Collaborate with Licensing team to interpret, prepare, and submit state licensing annual reports and other regulatory filings.
• Lead ongoing preparation of renewal applications and other forms to be filed in various licensing jurisdictions.
• Collaborate on NMLS licensing, reporting, and other regulatory filings.
• Analyze and develop new processes, leveraging AI, to increase efficiency within the licensing program.
