Job summary

OpenAI, Inc. is seeking a Leaves & Accommodations Analyst to administer the day-to-day leaves and workplace accommodations programs for a growing global employee population.

You will coordinate cases from intake through closure, maintain accurate records in HRIS and case-tracking systems, and collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, HR Systems, and external providers to ensure compliant, timely handoffs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting leave of absence, workplace accommodations, or related HR operations.
• Familiarity with U.S. leave concepts (FMLA, ADA) and applicable local requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and document decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leave and accommodation cases from intake to closure for U.S. and international requests.
• Maintain accurate records in HRIS and case-tracking systems; support audits and data integrity.
• Provide clear, empathetic updates to employees and managers; route complex questions to the right owner.
• Prepare reliable payroll handoffs, including approved pay information and benefits where applicable.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, HR Systems, and external providers to ensure timely handoffs.
