OpenAI is seeking a Leaves & Accommodations Analyst to support day-to-day administration of leave and workplace accommodations. You will coordinate cases from intake through closure, maintain organized records, and ensure timely handoffs across benefits, payroll, HR systems, and partners.

The role emphasizes careful execution, policy adherence, and empathy when guiding employees through next steps, with collaboration across HR Business Partners, Payroll, HR Systems, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting leave of absence and workplace accommodations.
• Familiarity with U.S. leave concepts (FMLA, ADA) and relevant state/local requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned leave cases from intake to closure for U.S. and international requests.
• Provide clear, empathetic updates and answer routine questions with approved guidance.
• Coordinate accommodations process and document next steps for ergonomic or disability-related needs.
• Maintain accurate leave and accommodation records in HRIS and case-tracking systems.
• Prepare payroll handoffs and verify pay information and benefits data.
• Track actions with third-party admins, vendors, and HR partners; ensure smooth handoffs.
• Keep trackers current, meet deadlines, and escalate priorities early.
• Suggest improvements to processes to reduce errors and ease employee experience.
