Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Manager, GL Accounting to lead our lease and fixed asset accounting function. This role manages a team of 5 and partners across EMEA and APAC to ensure accurate US GAAP reporting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting experience, strong ASC 842 knowledge, and proven leadership in a multinational or public company environment. Ventura, CA-based role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with ASC 842 and US GAAP experience.
• Experience leading a team in a multinational or public company.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 5-person team for global lease and fixed asset accounting.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close for related accounting and disclosures.
• Serve as global SME on lease accounting and depreciation.
• Collaborate with regional teams to consolidate into US GAAP reporting.
• Prepare disclosures for 10-Q/10-K and SEC filings.
• Maintain internal controls per Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404.
• Interface with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Drive process improvements for close and reporting.
