Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Manager of GL Accounting in Ventura, CA to lead our global lease and fixed asset accounting. You will manage a team of five, own the close process, and partner with regional teams to ensure accurate US GAAP reporting.

You will serve as the global expert on ASC 842 and fixed asset depreciation, coordinating with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and external auditors. A strong technical accounting background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of accounting experience including people leadership.
• CPA preferred; public accounting audit experience a plus.
• Deep technical accounting knowledge in ASC 842 and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5 accounting professionals.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close for leases and fixed assets.
• Serve as global SME on lease accounting (ASC 842) and depreciation.
• Coordinate with EMEA and APAC accounting teams.
• Prepare disclosures for SEC filings.
• Design and maintain internal controls per SOX 404.
