Job summary

Disney in Anaheim is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning Strategy to lead the development and execution of learning strategies and leadership experiences that build critical capabilities and support business priorities across Disney Experiences.

You will partner with HR, Talent Management, and business leaders, lead a team of Learning & Development professionals, and guide strategy from design through implementation, adoption, and evaluation with a focus on measurable impact.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Learning & Development or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive people leadership experience.
• Experience developing learning strategies aligned with business priorities with strong project management.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, leadership development, and performance improvement.
• Experience consulting with senior leaders, HR partners, Talent Management teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from strategy through evaluation.
• Experience defining success measures and using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate learning effectiveness and business impact.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, make decisions, and create clarity in a fast-changing, matrixed environment.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect learning investments to organizational needs and outcomes.
• Demonstrated commitment to building an inclusive workplace and designing learning experiences for diverse, global audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated learning strategies aligned with priorities and workforce needs.
• Translate business strategies into learning roadmaps and solutions.
• Lead a portfolio of learning initiatives balancing impact, learners, resources, and readiness.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and integrate learning with measurable outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of learning offerings, industry practices, and adult learning research.
• Serve as a trusted learning advisor to HR, Talent Management, and senior leaders.
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on audience, scope, investment, governance, and success measures.
• Guide design and sustainment of learning experiences using adult learning principles.
• Establish project plans, risks, dependencies for a portfolio of projects.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Lead, coach, and develop the L&D team; foster an inclusive environment.
